This refreshing Nettle Tea Lemonade combines the herbal goodness of nettle tea with the bright tang of fresh lemon juice and the natural sweetness of maple syrup, creating a revitalizing beverage perfect for any time of day.

Ingredients

Nettle Tea

  • 1 tea bag nettle leaf (organic)
  • 1 1/2 cup water

Lemonade

  • 5 ice cubes
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Prepare Nettle Tea: Boil 1 1/2 cups of water and steep the nettle leaf tea bag in the boiling water for 15 to 30 minutes to extract the full flavor and nutrients. After steeping, allow the tea to cool down to room temperature.
  2. Mix Lemonade Base: In a separate drinking glass, combine 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of pure maple syrup, and a pinch of salt. Stir well to dissolve the maple syrup and blend the flavors.
  3. Assemble the Drink: Add 5 ice cubes to the glass, then pour in approximately 1 1/2 cups of the cooled nettle tea or as much as the glass can hold. Stir to combine all ingredients thoroughly.
  4. Serve and Enjoy: Your Nettle Tea Lemonade is ready to enjoy as a refreshing, naturally sweetened herbal beverage.

Notes

  • Ensure the nettle tea cools to room temperature before mixing to prevent melting the ice too quickly.
  • You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup according to taste.
  • For a stronger nettle flavor, steep the tea closer to 30 minutes.
  • This drink is best served chilled but can be consumed at room temperature.
