A refreshing and flavorful iced vanilla chai latte made with spiced chai tea, milk, and a hint of vanilla. This quick and easy recipe offers two ways to enjoy: using vanilla syrup or vanilla extract with chai concentrate, perfect for a cool, creamy pick-me-up.

Ingredients

Option 1: With Vanilla Syrup

  • 2 Chai Tea Bags
  • 1/2 cup Hot Water
  • 1 cup Milk (of choice)
  • 1 Tbsp Vanilla Syrup
  • Ice Cubes (optional)

Option 2: With Vanilla Extract

  • 1/2 cup Chai Concentrate
  • 1/2 cup Milk (of choice)
  • 1/2-1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • Ice Cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Tea (Option 1): Place 2 chai tea bags into a heat-resistant glass or mug, such as a mason jar. Pour 1/2 cup of hot water over the tea bags and steep for 3-4 minutes to create a strong chai brew.
  2. Cool Tea: Remove the tea bags and allow the brewed tea to cool slightly so it won’t melt the ice or warm the milk when combined.
  3. Add Milk and Vanilla Syrup (Option 1): Pour 1 cup of your preferred milk into the brewed tea, then stir in 1 tablespoon of vanilla syrup until well combined.
  4. Add Ice Cubes (Option 1): Add ice cubes to your desired level of chill and stir gently.
  5. Enjoy Your Latte (Option 1): Sip and enjoy your homemade iced vanilla chai latte with vanilla syrup.
  6. Prepare Chai Latte (Option 2): Pour 1/2 cup of chai concentrate into a large drinking glass.
  7. Add Milk and Vanilla Extract (Option 2): Add 1/2 cup of milk and mix in 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, stirring well to combine.
  8. Add Ice Cubes (Option 2): Add ice cubes as desired for a refreshing chill.
  9. Enjoy Your Latte (Option 2): Relax and enjoy your iced vanilla chai latte made with chai concentrate and vanilla extract.

Notes

  • You can use any type of milk such as dairy, almond, soy, or oat milk according to your preference.
  • Adjust the amount of vanilla syrup or extract to taste for a sweeter or more subtle vanilla flavor.
  • For a stronger chai flavor, steep the tea bags longer or use a more concentrated chai concentrate.
  • Enjoy immediately for the best taste and freshness.
  • Optional: Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg for extra spice.
