Ingredients

Sliders

  • 12 count King’s Hawaiian dinner rolls
  • 4 cups shredded rotisserie chicken (skin and bones removed)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup Frank’s red hot buffalo sauce
  • ½ cup ranch dressing
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions

Butter Glaze

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 ½ tablespoons dried ranch seasoning mix

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Prepare the buns: Slice the King's Hawaiian dinner rolls in half horizontally using a bread knife. Place the bottom halves evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Mix the chicken filling: In a large bowl, combine the shredded rotisserie chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, Frank’s red hot buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, salt, and pepper. Stir thoroughly until the chicken is well coated and the mixture is evenly combined.
  4. Assemble the sliders: Spread the buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the bottom halves of the buns. Sprinkle chopped green onions on top, then cover with the top halves of the buns.
  5. Prepare the butter glaze: In a small microwave-safe bowl, add the butter and dried ranch seasoning mix. Microwave for about 10 seconds or until the butter is melted. Stir the mixture until fully combined.
  6. Brush the buns: Evenly brush the ranch butter glaze over the tops of the slider buns to add flavor and help them brown nicely.
  7. Bake the sliders: Tent the sliders with aluminum foil to prevent excessive browning and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes if you want the tops toasted and slightly crispy.

Notes

  • Using rotisserie chicken saves time and adds great flavor, but you can also use shredded cooked chicken breast.
  • If you prefer less spice, reduce the amount of buffalo sauce or use a mild wing sauce.
  • The ranch butter glaze can be brushed on generously to enhance the flavor or lightly for subtle taste.
  • Serve these sliders warm for best flavor and melty cheese.
  • These sliders can be prepared a few hours ahead; assemble and refrigerate, then bake just before serving.
